INOFlex® VF – Compensating 4-Jaw Centric Vice
The INOFlex® VF is a centric 4-jaw vice designed to meet the needs of modern machining. With its compensating clamping system, it ensures precise, concentric holding of round, rectangular, and irregularly shaped workpieces – making it a highly versatile solution for a wide range of applications.
INOFlex® – Economical, Flexible, and Built for Versatility
Available in sizes from Ø160 to Ø1200 mm, INOFlex® combines the strengths of 2-, 3-, and 4-jaw chucks with the functionality of a vice – all in one adaptable system. Its patented compensation design eliminates over-constrained clamping, making it a reliable solution for varied workholding needs.

How the INOFlex® System Works
Unlike traditional chucks where all jaws move symmetrically in or out from the centre, the INOFlex® operates on a unique concept. Its four jaws move along two parallel axes, either towards or away from each other. This motion is mechanically linked using a system of levers or a sliding gate-style gear, allowing opposing jaws to compensate as needed.
This patented compensating mechanism enables precise centric clamping of round, square, and unevenly shaped components – making it ideal for turning and milling operations that demand high accuracy.
