HP-Line

Application
High-precision centres with a compact body for grinding and fine turning operations.
Runout accuracy of max. 0.002 mm.
Suitable for CNC-controlled and conventional turning and grinding machines.
Provides optimal protection against splash and dirt.

Design

  • Hardened body
  • Ground tapers conform to DIN228AT3
  • Through-hardened 60° spindle made from high-grade steel
  • Spindle mounted with a taper roller bearing and a needle roller bearing
  • Seal available as either lip seal (G) or labyrinth seal (LAB)
  • Continuous lubrication using high-quality bearing grease

  • Morse tapers from No. 2 to 5

Spindle Types

  • Type HPV = extended point 60°

Loads
The weight ratings for workpieces are based on the assumption that the workpiece is supported between two centres, with each centre carrying a maximum of 50% of the total weight.

Additional loads—such as those caused by imbalance or uneven weight distribution—are not permitted.

Maintenance
All ROTOR centres are manufactured with permanent lubrication.
