Application
High precision carbide dead centres for grinding, measuring and testing. Optimal grinding results because of the high roundness of the 60° point and the precision of the Morse taper.
Technical Specifications
- Dimensions conform to DIN806E, 807 and 228, but with higher accuracy by ROTOR standard
- Carbide tips DIN8012 for standard centres
- Carbide tips with shaft for more safety at full points
- Carbide rings for bull nose points
- Roundness at ROTOR standard centres <0.001mm; special centres <0.0003mm (incl. roundness document)
- Tolerance of the point 60° 0/+0.15°
- Surface hardened taper for protection
- Ground taper conforms to DIN228AT3
Regrinding is possible down to the groove (refer to arrow).
Centres can be returned to the manufacturer to regrind the 60° point.
